For many years, the Edmonds SnoKing Branch has been involved with Edmonds College. The college is an institutional member of AAUW and has a staff representative on the Edmonds SnoKing Branch Board.

The Edmonds SnoKing Branch partners with the college to co-sponsor the annual Expanding Your Horizons conference,  for girls in grades 8 to 12 to explore careers in the STEM areas.

In 2023, we held our scholarship awards event at the college.

In 2022, the Edmonds SnoKing Branch and Edmonds College honored six STEM scholarship recipients at “Create the Future,” a celebration and networking event.

In 2019, our branch co-sponsored the Women’s Empowerment Luncheon at Edmonds College, recognizing over 30 women students for academic excellence, community involvement, and overcoming obstacles.

Another important group with which the branch works on community projects is the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County. Branch members assist with candidate forums, voter registration, and programs focused on issues such as civil discourse.
