February 2026

Saturday, February 14, 2026, 10a.m. – Noon.  Branch meeting. Edmonds College Snohomish Hall, Room 338.

April Haberman, CEO and co-founder of MiDOViA, will speak on women’s menopause health and wellness. April has been working with women, children and youth for over 20 years in various roles, including her work with Days for Girls. She is a passionate advocate and expert in women’s wellness, specializing in menopause, menstrual health and sexual reproductive health.

January 2026

Saturday, January 10, 2026, 10a.m. – Noon.  Branch meeting. Edmonds College Snohomish Hall, Room 338.

Our own Lisa Utter will share insights into Advocacy Day (formerly known as Lobby Day) which will be held on January 26 online via zoom.  We will find out what bills we will be tracking as a state this legislative session.  You’ll learn how to sign up for weekly legislative updates, how to track bills, sign up for our state advocacy day and help come up with ways our branch can engage with legislatures.
We’ll have opportunities to socialize with our members and find out the exciting things happening in our branch for the next few months.

December 2025

Saturday, December 13, 10a.m. – Noon.  Mark your calendars for December 13th, 10am-12ish for our Holiday Potluck. It will be at Ann McNulty’s house. Thank you, Ann, for offering your home to us again this year!

The “Auction” Gift Exchange is back! Please bring a wrapped gift of around $20 value to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. You will be giving clues to the contents prior to bidding. Bids will begin at $5.

Items can be from a trip, event, made by you, or even a regift of an item— no white elephants, please. Have fun thinking of what to bring and the clues you can give!

Saturday, November 8, 10 a.m. – Noon.  Edmonds College Snohomish Hall, Room 338.  Our speaker is Quin’Nita Cobbins-Modica of Humanities Washingtion.  Her presentation:  “We Are Also in Bondage Here: Black Women in the Washington Civil Rights Movement“.  Free and all welcome.

Saturday, October 11, 10 a.m. – Noon.  Branch meeting. Edmonds College Snohomish Hall, Room 338.  Our speaker is Casey Davis , Executive Director of the Edmonds Food bank, and a member of our branch. Come find out about the work the food bank provides in our community, effects of changes in funding, and recent successes. We will have a short business meeting with coffee and treats.

Wednesday, October 22, 11am – 12pm.  Coffee and Conversation.  All are welcome to join members of AAUW Edmonds SnoKing for Coffee & Conversation.  This is an open opportunity for members and folks interested in learning more about AAUW ESK to gather. The American Association of University Women supports the advancement of equity for women and girls through Public Policy, educational opportunities and local scholarships. Coffee & Conversation is a monthly gathering event hosted by AAUW Edmonds SnoKing.  We hope to see you for a chat and a cup of Joe at the Richmond Beach Coffee Company, 1442 NW Richmond Beach Rd., Shoreline, 98177!
